It should be here next week so I can play with it.
It doesn't come with the black box- but I can get them locally or on Ebay also.
I'm so excited and I got it for a GREAT price and I didn't lose the auction in the last minute. That's been happening in the last 10 tries...

ooohhhh Ethel, I love Ethel. I have an Aunt Ethel who's Libby's sister. Libby is the name of my first RedEye treadle....hmmmmm

Congrats Kim!! I have one and it didn't have a case either but my hubby made me one out of wood. It is beautiful. I love it!! You will too.
You're going to love your new toy. I have a 1947 one that I "won" on ebay for $200. I named her Hazel. I threw out the carrying case she came in, it wasn't in very good shape and stunk to high heaven. I bought one from a shop near my house called The Little Red 222, you can bring her the quilting fabric you like and she covers it with it.
