Let's do a catch up

Let's see last weekend I went to the Lancaster Quilt show and bought some goodies with money hubby has been holding since the last quilt show I missed March maybe??? The Mancusco one...

I bought mostly patterns and stencils. I'm looking to get a hand quilting hoop at the NJ Show in June so.....I did buy a Roxann's thimble- we shall practice with it to see if it helps any....

Last week I did manage to finish another feathered star....

that's about it besides working on CW. The Vet quilt is still on the frame waiting for it to warm up a bit.

Besides the game Monday/ Tuesday I had to take my dad for hand surgery Tuesday morning EARLY. I'm not a morning person and had to get up 4 days around 5AM. Today's mess was trying to get Moose in a carrier to go to the Vet. He didn't fit in the ones we use for the girls...so I got an old one out of the garage and fat ass broke it. Now I get to shop for another one this weekend. :( But in doing so I managed to throw my back out grrrrr so I've been using a heating pad on it - doesn't help much - I'm dreading going to bed later as the mornings are always tough when it's out.

So that's my week in a nutshell.....

You've been a busy girl and staying out of trouble. The feather and fan is my favorite. I did a cross-stitch of that one a long time ago (a miniture). Did you see what happened at Fenway yesterday....and the name of the young girl? (Amanda Rodriguez...ARod)...lol.

My goodness, how big is Moose getting to be if he can put your back out? *S* Your feathered star is gorgeous. I hope you feel better soon.
